Back to back 1:23.0xx, not sure which one was technically faster. Stock 2018 M2 on melting RT660 and excellent DS1.11 pads. Really struggled with RT660 temps with no front camber in this heavy car at this predominantly right turning track. Only had 5-6 laps at the start of a session to post a time before the left front shoulder completely gave up. Was dog slow from turn 6 through 9 because I just couldn't keep that shoulder from being overworked each lap and ended up settling on a compromised line to drive around the problem. Added 4 PSI to the rears to subtract some rear grip so I could get rotation without just cranking in steering angle. That helped bandaid things and made the car a lot more fun. Probably a bit too loose for ultimate smooth/consistent pace, but it is what it is. Car was 1.1 tons of fun from turns 10 through 5.
Not bad for a first track day in the M2 and first time on Main in many years. Lots of lap time left in the car, just need to figure out TT traffic management since I would be held up from the braking zone of 1 through 5, but then fall way back starting at 6 and couldn't get a great run out of 9 due to that left front crying for mercy. Always seemed to catch back up in the braking zone of 1 again. Rinse repeat. Lots to learn about TT, this track, this car and my own stupid habits!
