The Motorsports Park Hastings (MPH) is a road course paved in 2006 on the heartland of America and one of the most fertile regions in the world, full of agricultural lands and open spaces: Hastings, Nebraska. This 2.5-mile (4.02-km) raceway is at the outskirts of Hastings, surrounded by farms, on a deep inland location in the Midwest that experiences a continental climate with four distinct seasons and well-distributed rainfall throughout the year. There are 14 corners in this road course and several acceleration sectors elevating the average speed up to 83 mph (131 km/h).
The front straightaway of the Motorsports Park Hastings starts after exiting turn number 14 on to reaching the 90-degree turn number one, with the Start/Finish Line right in the middle of this straightaway. Turn number to is a wide 180-degree turn leading into the fastest segment of the track: a combination of two long straightaways separated by the kinks in 3 and 3A. After this segment comes the most technically demanding sector, sneaking through nine turns with varying angles and width, intermingled with short acceleration sectors after reaching the turn combination formed by 13 and 14, the tightest of the circuit.
