Driver's Notes:

Finally into the 1:55's at CVR CW! Very happy with the result! I focused primarily on slowing down my hands and gripping the wheel with my "inside" arm to give me more control. Although my hands still look overactive, it felt like I was so much more controlled with my steering and was able to control the car and the weight transfer so much better! I know I could've gone quicker, but I was happy with a 1:55.xx on this day and called my day early. I let some of my faster friends drive the Supra to help me set it up, and they both were in agreement that the rear is just too strongly sprung without a wing. I had spec'ed the spring rates for aero because I had thought I'd get the aero on much sooner, but we know that wasn't the case. Basically, the rear doesn't want to load, so the car is very oversteery and likes to skip. Not an ideal setup, but I've learned to control it. I'm excited to get the aero on and hunt for a time closer to 1:50!
