Qlispe Raceway Park (previously Spokane Raceway) is a Motorsports complex located at Airway Heights, 16 minutes away from downtown Spokane, on the Eastern side of the Washington State near the Idaho border. The main road course in Spokane is 2.5 miles (4.02-km) long, with a quarter-mile (0.4 km) drag strip enclosed in its front straightaway. A separate oval track measuring 0.5 miles (0.8 km) is also included in the complex but is not a part of the main raceway. The climate in Eastern Washington is continental but borderline Mediterranean, with warm, dry summers and mild to cold winters. Precipitations are scarce, as evidenced by the arid landscape, but there's a lot of snow in winter for rallying and autocross.
The road course at Spokane County Raceway runs counterclockwise and starts in a long straightaway that incorporates the quarter-mile drag strip. Turn number one is a slight bend to the right, followed by a pair of tight left-handers number two and three that form the northern corner of the track. Turn five is a fast-paced sweeper that faces a 90-degrees turn six, where racers need to diminish their speed before entering the tightest turn combination in the circuit, a heavy maneuvering sector formed by turns seven and eight. The southern corner is next, with turns 9 and 10, after which racers are back to the long straightaway to develop high speed once again.
