This is the 10th track test of our narrow body 2006 Corvette, this time testing out the newly added long tube headers + exhaust + cold air intake and a tune, which picked up +23 whp (382.5 whp) over the baseline stock power we have run in the previous 9 tests (360 whp). We again ran on the 315/30R18 Yokohama A052 200TW street tires, MCS Remote Double Adjustable coilovers, working Mk60 ABS, and newly added G-LOC R16 front / R12 rear pads.
Terry again had a completely free track in this session and took 4 hot laps with 2 cool down laps in the middle, netting his best on lap number 6 - which is not the ideal window for these tires, which heat up very quickly. The new lap time of 1:21.127 is 7.6 sec faster than the baseline stock test #1 and .8 sec faster than test #9. This was a decent lap time improvement for such a minor bump in power - but we have much more to come!
