Just a quick video of a 1:28 lap on Summit Point Main at a FATT (Friday at the track) earlier this year in my 2005 Mazda RX-8.
Setup is Dunlop Direzza ZII tires (not Star Specs) on 17x8.5 +40 Enkei RPF-1's, Koni Sport Yellow dampers, Progress Tech 205/145 "street" springs, MAZDASPEED front bar, stock rear bar drilled 1" inboard, Hawk HP+ pads front, Bendix CT-3 ceramic street pads rear, gutted catalytic, B&B cat-back so-called "muffler".
Stock engine, stock intake, stock ECU, stock brake lines, calipers, and rotors. No gutting, stripping, or lightening.
The engine is very tired, with compression readings around 75 PSI on the front rotor and 68 PSI on the rear. Technically that's dead, Jim. But doesn't feel dead to me.
Camera is a very tired Vado HD on a Panavise 809 suction cup mount.
Oh, and Google Plus sucks.
