RE-71RS is magic!!
Finally decided to give the new top-of-the-line 200TW tires a try. What can I say.. THEY WORK WONDERS!
Grip: there's simply so much more. They feel like literal GLUE compared to the CUP2 240s..
Tire wear: they are a million years better than the CUP2 240. With CUP2s I had to overinflate tires as high as 38PSI in order to barely, just barely keep the wear above the triangle indicator. With the 71RSs, 34PSI still ~2mm away from the indicator.
Sidewall: these supposed to have a much harder sidewall and that might make you think the ride will be extremely harsh and bumpy BUT what happened is the EXACT OPPOSITE. The horrendous bumps on the track are virtually GONE now and I can only say these tires are a PERFECT match with my XIDA coilovers.
Feel: Just a tiny bit vague near steering center under small inputs. Steering load up much better than the CUP2 240s.
Dailiability: Ride just as good as the CUP2 240s and tire noise is equal as well
