This was our first test after the "Baseline Stock" track in our new 2018 Mustang GT - and we found TEN SECONDS of improvement. This video shows two laps from the NASA Texas race weekend, Day 2, where we ran in TT3 class. Now every other car in class had full aero and Hoosiers, so we were massively out gunned. Still had times good enough for 3rd out of 6.
The car had 900 miles on the odometer, and we had added Whiteline Max-G coilovers, Whiteline swaybars, and Vorshlag camber plates to the suspension. Wheels were upgraded to 19x11" Forgestars and tires were 305/30R19 Bridgestone RE-71R street tires.
The brakes were a bit overtaxed even with G-LOC R8 pads, but we have a proper BBK coming from Powerbrake. The power is bone stock, as is the aero. For 200 treadwear tires and soft-ish spring rates on the coilovers we were damned happy with these lap times. More soon!
