The Honda S2000 AP1 is a Japanese rear-wheel-drive roadster, developed and assembled in the Takanezawa Tochigi R&D plant in Japan from 1999 until 2003. Its 1,977cc (122 cu in) 2.0L inline four-cylinder DOHC-VTEC engine comes at the front of the car. The Honda S2000 AP1 offers notable features such as an independent double-wishbone suspension, electrically assisted steering, and integrated roll hoops. Its compact and light engine allows the AP1 to have a perfectly balanced weight distribution and produces the highest specific output of any regular streetcar, going from 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds.
