The Radford Racing School is America's number one driving Academy, operating in Phoenix, Arizona, for more than 50 years. It offers racing enthusiasts from all over the world the opportunity to get behind the wheel of top-performance race cars and feel the speed in a world-class raceway. Their Performance Driving, Special Operations, Drag Racing, Go-karting, TransAm Racing, Formula 4 Racing, and Grand Prix Racing programs equip aspiring racers with the skills necessary to succeed in their preferred Motorsports series. The sunny and dry desert climate of the Valley of the Sun allows track time year-round, with special precautions such as high hydration needed for racing during summer.
Radford Racing School uses the southern half of Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park Mondo Raceway. The layout goes in the counterclockwise orientation for 15 turns and only one straightaway that contains the start/ finish line. Turns one to three are slights bends coming right after the back straightaway, with lots of overtaking opportunities. Turn number four is the tightest in the circuit and leads into a fast-paced succession of five sweeping turns. Turns number 10, 11, and 12 have closer angles and are harder to take, preparing racers for entering the Carousel, a combination of two long left-handers and a right-hand sweeper closing the loop in the main straightaway.
