Here's my best lap at a buttery-smooth repaved Sonoma. Grip felt like a mixed bag, with some corners clearly having more grip than before (carousel exit, T11), while others almost felt like they had less than before (T4, T7). Lap times were overall faster though, and pushing hard felt much less sketchy than before with the car bouncing all over the place.
I only got around 5 clean laps for the day, so in the last session, I tried to be somewhat conservative to make sure I could get a representative lap down. My optimal lap would have been a mid 1:56 (had a bad carousel exit and overcooked T11 exit a bit on this lap), but I'm sure there's tons of time on the table. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm leaving over a second through the esses+T10. In any case, it was still a joy to experience the smooth G forces in the compression turns and hang out with the 86 Challenge folks!
